For over 50 years, Housing Assistance has been an integral part of the Cape and Islands community. It started as a rental voucher agency in 1974; today it has a staff of 120 and offers a range of services and programs that bridge the wide gap between homelessness and homeownership. Housing Assistance’s work seeks to elevate the Cape and Islands economy and community, empower residents of all ages and income levels, and address the root causes of our housing crisis.
BTEO’s managing director, Gina Torielli, said, “BTEO is tremendously pleased to receive this honor from Housing Assistance and many from the BTEO community plan to participate in the Falmouth walk.”
BTEO provides transitional housing for adults experiencing homelessness in Falmouth during the cold weather months and housing restoration services year-round.
