Working together, we can end homelessness in Falmouth.

Longest Night Vigil

Date: Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 6 p.m.

Location: First Congregational Church of Falmouth
68 Main Street, Falmouth MA 02540

On December 21, 2025 at 6 p.m., BTEO will hold its annual memorial services in collaboration with the National Homeless Persons’ Remembrance Day. A simple meal will follow the Candlelight Service. Donations of shelf stable food are welcome.

December 21st is the winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and the longest night of the year. BTEO has sponsored this event since its inception on this day that calls attention to the plight of people in Falmouth who experience homelessness and to encourage the public to act on their behalf.  This year’s event will be held at the John Wesley United Methodist Church in Falmouth.

It will include an opportunity for those interested and able to pitch a tent or sleep in their vehicles to experience in a small way what our homeless neighbors do.
